About us

The association for the preservation of historically valuable agricultural machinery and equipment nordhorn was found on June 2, 1989.

The association was renamed to “Treckerclub Nordhorn e.V.” in October, 2013. We are german and dutch current and former farmers, agricultural machine mechanics, entrepreneurs, workers, and enthusiasts whose mission is to promote and maintain the cultural heritage and values, in particular the preservation and restoration of historical or technically valuable agricultural equipment and machinery.

We have collected a wide variety of agricultural machinery and equipment of all known manufacturers. A large number are presented at the annual "Historical Field Day Nordhorn".

The "Historical Field Days Nordhorn" are the largest and most important activity for the “Treckerclub Nordhorn e.V.”. It has been held for more than 20 consecutive years. The event usually takes place every second weekend in August. “The Historic Field Day Nordhorn” originally started out with some friends working together on unoccupied 25 acres field with their historical machines. Today, this field has expanded to include some of the surrounding areas and now totals 62 acres.

A multitude of old tractors and machinery in accordance with their original purposes are demonstrated in action on the field. More information can be found on the following pages.
